No bombs or suspicious items have been found after an unidentified person called to report there was a bomb at the Chattanoogan at about 8 p.m., police say.

The Chattanooga Police Department’s Bomb Unit was immediately dispatched to the site at 1201 Broad St. where they searched the building and surrounding areas, using a police K-9 that is specifically trained in the detection of explosives and other means.

The investigation continues to identify the suspect who called in the bomb threat, police say.
