Two elderly sisters found shot to death in Bledsoe home

Bledsoe County detectives are investigating a double homicide after two elderly sisters were found dead at a Pikeville, Tenn., home this morning, according to the sheriff’s office.

Family members found Elizabeth Brown, 82, and Billie Sue Blaylock, 79, shot to death at the home on Mill Dam Road around 8 a.m., officials said.

At this point, investigators are not releasing suspect names or possible motives.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is assisting in the investigation.

What a terrible crime. Two old sisters slain. Old people need to pack heat, learn how to use a firearm, don't be so trusting, make sure their homes are secure and look out for one another.
