Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office detectives are still investigating what led to the deaths of a young man and woman struck by a train early this morning.
Michael Hennen, 27, and Hannah Barnes, 19, were killed after they were struck by a Norfolk Southern train about 6 a.m., according to sources. Michael Hennen is the son of Hennen’s restaurant founder Tim Hennen.
It’s unclear what Hennen and Barnes were doing on the tracks.
The train crew sounded the horn before striking them, according to railroad officials.

What a shame.
Indeed. So young.
Our thoughts and prayers to the families and loved ones of these two young people. This is such a sudden, sad and tragic loss. I pray that God comforts you as only He can and that their souls are at peace. God bless.
What a shame! Two young lives! Strange though, guess the whole story will some out soon, or maybe not! One 27, and the boss, and one 19, a subordinate. Strange indeed. Sometimes 2 + 2 just don't add up to 4.
This is very strange to say the least. More questions than answers...My Prayers are with both families.
