A month-long investigation in DeKalb County, Ala., led to the arrest of three people charged with making meth.

Daniel James Pardue, 19, his wife Elizabeth Nicole Pardue, 18, both of Higdon, and Michael Cole Henderson, 26, of Flat Rock were charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance, according to a release from Sheriff Jimmy Harris.

They were taken to the DeKalb County Detention Center, where they're waiting for their bonds to be set, he said.

Early Tuesday morning, authorities raided at a residence on County Road 155 in the Higdon area of DeKalb County, Harris said. Inside, agents found a methamphetamine lab, a quantity of finished methamphetamine and several pieces drug paraphernalia, he said.
