Bledsoe County authorities have arrested Brenda K. Brown, 47, of Pikeville, in the slayings of sisters Elizabeth Brown, 82, and Billie Sue Blaylock, 79, investigators said.
Bledsoe County authorities have arrested Brenda K. Brown, 47, of Pikeville, in the slayings of sisters Elizabeth Brown, 82, and Billie Sue Blaylock, 79, investigators said.
Bledsoe County investigator Ricky Seals said Brown was arrested late Wednesday night on two counts of first-degree murder.
The sisters’ bodies were found about 9 a.m. CDT Aug. 16, Blaylock lying by steps outside the home and Brown in her bed. Both were still in their nightclothes, according to authorities.
Brown is being held on an unspecified bond at the Bledsoe County Detention Center in Pikeville.
