MOBILE, Ala. - The Chattanooga Lookouts, leading the North Division of the Southern League's second half, edged the Mobile BayBears 5-4 in the first of two seven-inning games Saturday night. Mobile won the second game 4-3.

Travis Denker doubled to left field in the sixth inning and scored on Brian Cavazos-Galvez's sacrifice fly to right as Chattanooga broke a 4-4 tie. Josh Lindblom, who returned from Los Angeles late last week, struck out the side in the ninth. The Lookouts trailed 1-0 in the fourth inning before scoring four runs, with Griff Erickson's single to right that scored Denker and Cavazos-Galvez highlighting that outburst.

Scott Van Slyke was 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs for Chattanooga and Cavazos-Galves also homered in game two, which ended at nearly 1 a.m. EDT.

Game four of the six-game series in Mobile is tonight at 7:05 EDT. Chris Withrow (5-6, 4.51 ERA) is scheduled to start on the mound for the Lookouts, with Tyler Skaggs (3-1, 2.51) scheduled for the BayBears.
