A woman was taken to the hospital after she drove off the side of the W Road on Signal Mountain, officials said.
The one-vehicle crash occured shortly after 6 p.m. Tuesday at the 4200 block of the W Road, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Janice Atkinson said.
Emergency services personnel repelled down from the roadway to get the driver out of her car, which was about 150 feet down the embankment, Atkinson said.
The woman, Terissa Evans, 48, was taken to the hospital by LifeForce for non-life threatening injuries. Atkinson said.

Her husband better watch out, the peanut gallery is about to accuse him of attempted murder.
Hey! hcirehttae! WTG! The TFP often has misspellings and grammatical errors....makes me wonder if the writers REALLY ACTUALLY attended college! ...or if TFP is paying anyone to proof-read.
I'm sure there will be extensive forensic tests on the vehicle.
