Tennessee police officer charged with rape of 14-year-old girl

Memphis police have charged one of their own, a 25-year-old officer, with having sex with a 14-year-old girl as well as sending her nude photos of himself, police officials announced Tuesday.

Sex-crimes investigators charged officer Ericck L. Cain with aggravated statutory rape and exploitation of a minor by electronic means, according to a statement released by a public information officer.

Deputy Chief Dave Martello said Cain and the victim are related, but he didn't know how closely.

Jesse, Can you explain what that meant?

Also, period is spelled with a "D" not a "T" at the end.

As hard as you may try, you can't dumb down any further than where you already are.

sexual predators with a badge and in uniform. Is this really all that surprising? It's been going on for decades and it's no secret. Like Sandusy and clergy, everybody knew, but no one said anything, and they attacked the ones who did. The only thing surprising is this one was arrested and charged.

If you all would look to the right of this story you'll see that power and status can buy your way out of most anything.

I say we bring the police officer to the Cleveland Police Center, sit him down and write down the things he might be guilty of such as rape. That will show him and should be the end of the matter, right Chief Snyder?

Rolando, That study is old news, but way to try to sound smart and educated.

What are you doing on here anyway? Shouldn't you be standing out front of the Home Depot waiting for today's work?

Why was it surprising that he was arrested and charged. Public officials are regularly arrested and charged. If you know of one that needs to be (actually know, not just listening to neighborhood gossip)and you are not filing the complaints then you are part of the problem.

rolando........ that would be a valid arguement if that was not the first thing that teachers give kids as the "fun" worksheet on the first day of third grade. better luck next time.

Even so...fact is, spelling is not important at all. Y'all just need something to nitpick about.

Man up.

LOL, you can't even attack someone properly. How pitiful is that?
The truth hurts those numbnuts who criticize the spelling and grammar of others.

What part of the jesse's posts did you fail to understand?

It is a bit surprising to me, holdout, only because it is not at all unusual for 12-14 year-old girls to go to Planned Parenthood for their abortions. It is so routine it has become humdrum.

And PP doesn't call the police and report the fathers.

Which makes them part of the problem.

So why pick this guy out of that vast crowd of statutory rapists [which probably includes Mommie's boyfriend/current shack job]?

Bumpkin said...

Rolando, maybe it's humdrum for your 13 12 year old grand kids to go to planned parenthood, but not for those of us that are educated beyond the 3rd grade.

Seriously though, you better get to the home depot or you'll not get picked for work today.
