A 22-year-old woman is scheduled to go before a judge on Valentine's Day after she was arrested for reportedly slashing her fiancé's face with a eyebrow razor, according to an arrest report.

Markeisha McCauley, of Chattanooga, was arrested on a warrant Thursday for first-degree attempted murder by U.S. marshals and local authorities, according to an arrest report.

Her fiancé showed up at Erlanger hospital in October with a long cut from his left cheek to his neck and a deep gash to his forearm. He said McCauley swung a blade from a eyebrow razor at his face and neck after she found he had another girl's phone number, according to the arrest report.

The man told police he held up his arms to defend himself.

On Feb. 14, McCauley is scheduled to go before General Sessions Judge Robert L. Moon, Jr.

As of this morning, she was in Silverdale Detention Center on $10,000 bond.
