Lady Mocs rout Wofford

SPARTANBURG, S.C. - In a must-win Southern Conference road game, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's basketball team dominated the second half for a 72-45 win today at Benjamin Johnson Arena.

UTC (11-12, 8-6 SoCon) led by 7 points with 16:04 to play in the game before going on a 14-4 run to give the Lady Mocs a 52-35 lead and some breathing room.

Kylie Lambert led UTC with 15 points and eight rebounds and Taylor Hall had her best game since joining the team in December with 9 points and six rebounds. Eight Lady Mocs scored at least 5 points.

The Lady Mocs led 33-27 at the half and outscored Wofford 39-18 in the second half.

Mahagony Williams led Wofford (6-14, 2-10) with 17 points.

With the win, UTC remains in fourth place in the SoCon standings. The Lady Mocs visit Furman on Monday.
