The victim of a fatal shooting Thursday night in Chattanooga has been identified.

Lavante Favors, 25, was shot in the head inside an apartment at 3726 Dorris St., said police spokeswoman Sgt. Jerri Weary. He was found dead on the living room floor by his girlfriend aboiut 9 p.m., she said.

No arrests have been made, Weary said, but police are looking at robbery as the possible motive because the apartment had been ransacked.
