The committee has connections with suppliers that will allow it to lend a helping hand to homeowners whose houses are in need of repair or clean up, but it now is searching for volunteers who are able to perform the work.

Steve Daughtery, who will be chairman of the committee, will be receiving requests by those in need of assistance as well as helping to organize any civic organization, church or school prospective volunteers.
