Georgia redshirt sophomore quarterback Aaron Murray sprained his right ankle during a pick-up soccer game Saturday on campus but is not expected to miss any spring practice.

According to UGA Director of Sports Medicine Ron Courson, Murray was evaluated by team physicians this afternoon. X-rays taken were negative, and an MRI confirmed the sprain.

The Red & Black, Georgia's student newspaper, reported earlier today that Murray broke his right ankle in two places. The paper cited team sources.

Georgia is scheduled to begin spring practice March 10 with three quarterbacks on scholarship: Murray, Hutson Mason and early enrollee Christian LeMay.
