The City Council is expected tonight to vote on a resolution that will try to reverse a $20,000 expenditure.

Councilman Jack Benson asked that City Attorney Mike McMahan draft a resolution to be voted on tonight that would rescind a resolution approved last week by the council to accept a $40,000 grant from the Lyndhurst Foundation for the city's Public Art program.

The city is required to put in $20,000 as a matching grant.

Councilwoman Deborah Scott said today before the City Council's committee meeting she would likely second the motion.
