Rhea County: Philyaw named to city judge post in Graysville

Graysville, Tenn.’s city court bench will be manned by Robert D. Philyaw, according to a city statement released today.

Philyaw stated he is happy about the appointment and will work to serve the community well.

He said he wants to “continue looking at each case that comes before me thoroughly and make the right decision based on the law and a fair and accurate finding of the facts that apply.”

Graysville Mayor Ted Doss said he is looking forward to Philyaw taking the job and also looks forward to moving City Court into a new courtroom later this year.
