2 missing Chattanooga girls sought

A 13-year-old girl and her 14-year-old friend who went to McDonald's with an uncle Thursday haven't been seen since, Chattanooga police said.

According to spokeswoman Jerri Weary, Christopher Johnson, 46, drove his niece, Alexis Johnson and her friend, Debbie Montgomery to the McDonald's at 156 Browns Ferry Road about 6:30 p.m.

Alexis sent a text to a cousin saying the three were on the way home to their house at 3414 Kellys Ferry Road, but none of the three showed up, Weary said.

Relatives have told police that Johnson has a drug problem and may be found around the Kings Lodge on Westside Drive. He drives a red, 1981 Ford F250 truck with a bed full of junk and no license tag, Weary said.

Alexis is 4 feet, 10 inches tall and 90 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a tie-dyed shirt and neon green shorts.

Debbie is about the same description. She was wearing a brown shirt and navy blue shorts.

Johnson is 6 feet tall and 170 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes. He was wearing blue and white jeans, maroon button-down shirt and brown leather AL ball cap with a fish hook on the bill.

Anyone with information on Johnson's or the girls' location should call Chattanooga police investigator S. Beard at 423-698-2525 or 423-421-5537.
