Authorities are searching for a Dade County Jail inmate who escaped from a work site on Saturday.
Rodney Lough, 36, walked away from the Dade County Transfer Station and fled the area before a supervisor noticed he was missing, authorities said.
Lough, has ties to Dade, Marion, Hamilton, DeKalb and Jackson counties, and investigators have several possible leads on his whereabouts, sheriff’s detective Christy Prince said in a news release.
Lough was serving time in the Dade County Jail for a parole violation, a jail employee said.
A warrant for his arrest has been obtained for felony escape and theft of property, Prince said.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Dade County Sheriff's Department at 706-657-3233.
