Chattanooga man sought on robbery, theft charges

Police are asking for help to find a local man wanted in connection with a July 2 robbery here.

The victim of the robbery at 2200 E. 26th St. told police he was walking down the street when he was approached by two people who accused him of robbing one of their friends. The attackers then punched the victim several times in the face and head, police were told. After the assault the attackers stole the victim's cell phone and cash and fled.

Dominic Lavon Wright, 19, also known as Skream, later was identified as a suspect.

He is five feet, 11 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds, according to police. His last known address is 2110 Davenport St. in Chattanooga.

Wright is wanted on charges of robbery and theft under $500.
