Hamilton County authorities say a man whose body was found in Harrison Bay on Thursday night was the victim of accidental drowning.
Detectives were called out to 7424 Woodland Bay Drive just before midnight Thursday, where the body of Alan Moultrie, 62, was pulled from the water and taken to the Hamilton County Medical Examiner's Office.
"The preliminary investigation is indicating that this event is an accidental drowning due to a severe medical condition," sheriff's spokeswoman Janice Atkinson said in a news release. "There are no signs of trauma to the body and no foul play noted."
