HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - The Chattanooga Lookouts committed six errors but rallied to defeat the Huntsville Stars 5-4 in Southern League baseball Saturday night.

Chattanooga completed its comeback when Elian Herrera homered to right field in the top of the ninth inning. The Lookouts tied the game with a four-run eighth inning, highlighted by Kyle Russell's two-run single to left.

Herrera committed a fielding error at second base and first baseman Hector Gimenez dropped a foul ball during the second inning, when Huntsville scored twice, but the Stars couldn't capitalize in the fourth on throwing errors by third baseman Travis Denker and starting pitcher Allen Webster on a pickoff attempt. Shortstop Wilberto Ortiz had a throwing error in the fifth and center fielder Alfredo Silverio had one in the sixth, and the Stars scored once in each inning.

The Southern League record for errors was set in 1971, when Birmingham had nine against Memphis.

The finale of a five-game series in Huntsville is tonight at 7:45 EDT. Nathan Eovaldi (6-5, 2.61 ERA) is the scheduled starting pitcher for the Lookouts, with Cody Scarpetta (6-5, 4.31) scheduled for the Stars.
