Georgia Winery hosting Grill & Chill days during June

Grill & Chill musical acts are:

• Saturday: Jordan Hallquist and guest (pop)

• June 11: Rita and Jim Woody (bluegrass band featured at 2010 Grape Stomp)

• June 18: Ivan Wilson and guest (country and bluegrass)

• June 25: Buckner Brothers (blues band)

Saturdays in June have been designated Grill & Chill days at the Georgia Winery.

Visitors can chill out with tastings of wines and wine slushies.

Lockhart’s Fire & Smoke will grill out, providing hamburgers and hot dogs for purchase.

Several family activities will be offered outdoors between noon and 4 p.m., and entertainers will provide live music in the vineyard (bands will play indoors if raining). First in the lineup is pop artist Jordan Hallquist and a guest to be announced.

Cost is $10 at the door, which includes five 1-ounce wine tastes (equal to a full glass of wine). Cost is $5 for nondrinkers and children 10 and older. Children under 10 get in free.

Blankets and chairs are recommended for seating.

The Georgia Winery is at 6469 Battlefield Parkway in Ringgold.
