Lookouts win fifth in row, 11-5 over Braves

PEARL, Miss. - The Chattanooga Lookouts amassed 10 runs off 12 hits in the first four innings and cruised to their fifth consecutive Southern League baseball victory Saturday night, 11-5 over the Mississippi Braves.

The Lookouts (31-32) led 1-0 in the third inning when Scott Van Slyke's home run to left field brought in Hector Gimenez and Brian Cavazos-Galvez. Gimenez, Cavazos-Galvez and Wilberto Ortiz each doubled to left in a six-run fourth inning, with Ortiz bringing in two runs with his drive.

Game four of a five-game series in Pearl, Miss., is tonight at 6:05 EDT. Nate Eovaldi (4-4, 2.98 ERA) is scheduled to start on the mound for the Lookouts, with J.J. Hoover (2-5, 3.07) scheduled for the Braves.
