A man and a teen suspected in the beating and Oct. 10 stabbing death of a Chattanooga pastor were indicted today by the Hamilton County Grand Jury, authorities said.

Antonio Henry, 26, and Brendan Barnes, 16, have been indicted on charges of first-degree murder and especially aggravated robbery in the death of the Rev. David Strong, 55, pastor of St. Paul AME Church, court documents show.

The pair were arrested days after the death when they were stopped while riding in Strong's car.

In court testimony, Chattanooga police Detective Michael Wenger has said 'Barnes told him the pair went to Strong's home to "rob and possibly kill" the pastor.

In a jailhouse interview, Henry told the Times Free Press that he beat Strong with a stick and Barnes stabbed Strong after the pastor made unwanted sexual advances to Henry.
