Sen. Alexander vs. wild spending

Tennessee’s fine U.S. Sen. Lamar Alexander understands the danger of irresponsible federal finance.

As he pointed out recently, “At a time when Washington is borrowing 40 cents of every dollar it spends, Congress should take a hard look at the entire budget and focus on the nation’s priorities as we develop a longer-term plan to cut our debt, which is choking economic growth and stifling job creation.”

Don’t you wish all of our 100 senators and all of our 435 representatives in Congress shared Alexander’s sound view?

NO...I do NOT. Your story wholly misrepresents Alexander. Your readers would be wise to learn about him from other truthful sources.
