Rising Fawn, Ga., welder wins $35,000 in Georgia lottery

Johnny Chambers, 71, a Rising Fawn, Ga., welder, has won $35,000 in the instant game Cashword III in the Georgia lottery.

A lottery news release said Chambers claimed his prize at the lottery’s Dalton, Ga., district office.

“I’m going to spend it,” Chambers said.

The Miller Industries welder bought his ticket at the Pilot Travel Center #0415 at 319 Deer Head Cove Road in Rising Fawn.
