Hanson, Turner re-elected in Collegedale

Two Collegedale commissioners held onto their seats in what was essentially an uncontested election Tuesday.

Larry Hanson garnered 45.54 percent of the vote with 138 ballots and John Turner drew 39.27 percent with 119 votes. This put the two well ahead of candidate Ronnie Ennis, who received 42 votes. Ennis's name appeared on the ballot, though he wanted to withdraw from the race.

Henson and Turner will each serve four more years on the five-member board.
