DALTON, Ga. — A former Ringgold, Ga., city code enforcement officer will start his new job as city manager in Varnell on Friday.
Jason Hall, who was chosen by the Varnell City Council and mayor from about 35 applicants and four finalists, said he is excited to meet city employees and learn more about the position.
“I’ll be trying to get a handle on who everybody is and where all the projects are,” Hall said Wednesday. “I’m looking forward to getting in there and getting to work.”
Hall worked as a code enforcement officer, flood plain manager and safety officer in Ringgold from July 2004 to February.
