Walker County Sole Commissioner Bebe Heiskell said today she submitted a revised proposal to Erlanger Health System regarding a partnership with Hutcheson Medical Center.
In a news release, Heiskell said the proposal brings the two parties close to a finalized agreement.
Walker, Catoosa and Dade counties have worked “feverishly” on reviewing and editing a draft proposal from Erlanger, the release said. If adopted, the finished document will be in effect for at least 20 years, the release said.
“It was nothing to be taken lightly on behalf of the taxpayers,” Heiskell said in the release.
