Photo Gallery: State quests end for Howard, CSAS

Howard and CSAS fell short in their bids for state basketball titles last week, bringing to an end successful seasons where both teams racked up 20-plus wins. After defeating Giles County on March 17, Howard lost the Class AA semifinal the next day to top-ranked Liberty. CSAS led by four with 1:35 remaining in the March 16 Class A quarterfinal, but failed to stop a late Lake County surge.
