Two airlifted after Murray County wreck

A man and a woman were airlifted to Erlanger hospital Saturday morning after suffering serious injuries in a wreck involving a motorcycle and a minivan, according to the Chatsworth Fire Department.

The wreck happened around 10 a.m. at the intersection of Hwy 176 and Duvall Road in Chatsworth, said Capt. Jason Castoe.

The cause of the accident has still not been confirmed, Castoe said. The two injured people had been riding a Honda trike motorcycle.

The current status of the couple is unknown at this time.
