Robbery suspect sought

Crime Stoppers is looking for a man suspected in a beating and robbery Wednesday.

The crime occurred in the 2100 block of Windsor Street. The victim told police the robber struck him several times in the head with a large tree branch and stole about $30 from him before riding away on a bicycle.

Police are seeking Tyrone Garner, 52, whose last known address is 7325 Noah Reid Road. Garner is 5 feet, 10 inches tall and 160 pounds, with brown eyes and gray-flecked black hair. He is wanted on charges of robbery and aggravated assault.

Anyone with information leading to his arrest could be eligible for a $1,000 cash reward. Call 698-3333.
