As of 10 a.m., power has been restored to all but a few North Georgia EMC customers, however, many customers who have had extensive damage will not be able to reconnect power until repairs have been made and inspected by county officials.
NGEMC officials have asked customers still without power in locations where neighboring homes or businesses have electricity to call their local NGEMC office.
