The Red Cross shelter at Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe High School will move to Poplar Springs Baptist Church in Ringgold, Ga., Friday to let the school system prepare for classes.
The organization has been feeding and housing victims of last Thursday’s storm since intense winds and tornados devastated the Southeast. Since then, volunteers have poured into affected areas, helping feed and care for victims and distribute supplies.
