Chattanooga shooting victim's name released by police

Chattanooga police have identified a man who was shot in the head during a drive-by Thursday afternoon on Tunnel Boulevard as 21-year-old Darrell Armour, Jr.

Armour, who remains in critical condition, was sitting inside a screen in porch at the residence located at 1006 Tunnel Boulevard when someone in a blue vehicle traveled south past the residence and fired at the home.

One shot struck Armour. He was taken to a local hospital but was conscious at the time.

Armour has a prior arrest records of charges including domestic assault and aggravated robbery, according to Hamilton County court records. Neighbors near the residence reported there is often traffic coming and going from the residence.

Police are still seeking leads in the case and no arrests have been made. Anyone with any information is asked to call police at 423-425-3580.
