A Bradley County man was arrested after he was caught on tape stealing a .22-caliber rifle and several tools from a man's barn.

John Paul Dodd,49, was arrested at his house on 27th Street and charged him with three counts of burglary and one count of theft over $1,000, said Bradley County Sheriff's spokesman Bob Gault.

Dodd was taken to Bradley County Jail and his bond was set at $35,000, Gault said.

A few hours earlier, victim Charles Harris told police that he saw a vehicle leaving his barn Sunday afternoon and, when he investigated, several items inside were missing, Gault said.

A video system near the barn captured a man loading a welder, a leaf blower, a rifle and a number of hand tools into his vehicle, Gault said.
