Chattanooga: Police seek information on bank robbery

Chattanooga Police are investigating a robbery of the Regions Bank located at 3894 Hixson Pike, according to a news release.

Police were dispatched to the bank Monday around 9:30 a.m. after a suspect walked into the bank and demanded money from everyone, the news release stated.

Police described the suspect as a black male, 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighing about 250 pounds. The suspect ordered everyone in the bank into the vault after taking money from the tellers, police stated.

No one was able to see what direction the suspect fled after leaving the bank, police said.
