A federal jury today found an East Ridge man guilty of conspiring to make and distribute methamphetamine. He faces a minimum of 10 years in prison.

Gregory Alan Mercer, 41, will be sentenced June 30 by U.S. District Court Chief Judge Curtis Collier.

Prosecutors alleged that Mercer was the main meth cook named in a 13-person indictment, and that other users would trade ingredients or finished product for use of his U.S. Highway 41 garage to make the drug.
