A man thought to have broken into a vehicle and stolen a wallet was caught on camera using one of the stolen credit cards in Ringgold, Ga.

Dalton police are asking for the public's help to identify the man caught on a surveillance video buying $240 in merchandise, police spokesman Bruce Frazier said.

The vehicle was broken into at the Dalton Golf and Country Club between noon and 3 p.m. on Thursday, Frazier said in a news release. A wallet was stolen with $200 in cash and several credit cards inside, he said.

A stolen card was used at a BP gas station in the Atlanta area, and another card was used at a CVS Pharmacy in Ringgold, where investigators were able to get a photo of the man, Frazier said.

Anyone with information in the incidents is asked to contact Officer John Edwards at 706-278-9085, extension 152.
