Jefferson Awards have served as a "Call to Action for Volunteers" in local communities on a local and national level. The Chattanooga Times Free Press and WRCB Channel 3 have teamed up to honor Chattanooga's local volunteers who do extraordinary things for their community, their nation or the environment.
