Hamilton County commissioners declined to take action today on Occupy Chattanooga protesters camped out on the county courthouse lawn.

Commission chairman Larry Henry said Tuesday that commissioners likely would vote on a resolution designating a liaison to coordinate with the sheriff's office on any potential enforcement action against the protesters.

No such proposal came up in today's meeting.

Representatives from Occupy Chattanooga attended the meeting and spoke during public-comment period.
