Knoxville police arrest 14-year-old armed driver

KNOXVILLE - A 14-year-old Knoxville boy, already facing burglary and gun charges, was arrested driving on a city street with a stolen firearm, according to police.

The juvenile, whose name is being withheld because of his age, faces a string of charges, including possession of a firearm with the intent to go armed, theft, resisting arrest, evading arrest, disregarding a stop sign and driving without a license, according to Knoxville Police Department spokesman Darrell DeBusk.

The boy already faces charges of aggravated burglary and possession of a firearm from an earlier incident, DeBusk said.
