Child missing from Winchester, Tenn.

Police in Winchester, Tenn., say a missing 11 year-old child has been found safe and his noncustodial mother taken into custody in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Earlier today, Winchester police issued an endangered child alert for 11 year-old Zackary Cole Moore, who they say was taken by his noncustodial mother this morning.

Police said Rebecca Anne Hopkins took Zackary around 9 a.m. Central time and was possibly traveling toward her home in Myrtle Beach. They said Zackary had called his grandmother from the road.

The Winchester news release said the boy is safe and the mother in custody.
