SOFTBALL

Jesslyn Stockard, Heritage: She went 3-for-4 with a home run and a double and knocked in four runs in a 5-1 Region 7-AAA victory over Ringgold. The win put Heritage in the winners-bracket final opposite against Allatoona on Wednesday.

Abby and Maryanne Morgan, Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe: They each went 3-for-3 with an RBI as the Lady Warriors knocked off North Murray and advanced to the Region 7-AA winners-bracket final against River Ridge, which defeated Dade County.

VOLLEYBALL

Kayla Pierce, Gordon Lee: She had 12 assists and five aces as No. 2 seed Gordon Lee advanced in the Georgia Area 6-A/AA tournament in Rome with a 2-0 victory over Calhoun.

Bre Horner, Sonoraville: She had 10 digs and added two aces on 13-of-13 serving accuracy as the top-seeded Phoenix breezed past Temple High in the Area 6-A/AA tournament.

Callie Hildebrand, Signal Mountain: She came up with 12 kills and 15 digs as the Lady Eagles beat Bledsoe County 3-0 to improve to 23-15 overall and 6-1 in District 7-AA.

Hayley McBee, Lookout Valley: She had eight kills and nine digs in her team's 3-0 win at Marion County.

Sydney Harris, East Hamilton: She was credited with 21 assists and 15 digs in the Lady Hurricanes' 3-0 nondistrict win at Grace Academy.

Erin Hill, Sale Creek: In wins over Silverdale Baptist and East Ridge, she contributed 17 kills, 16 assists and eight digs in addition to serving 12 aces.

Chance Davis, Hixson: She had 29 assists, eight kills and 13 digs as the Lady Wildcats defeated Chattanooga Christian and Walker Valley.

Olivia Holden, Soddy-Daisy: She had 36 assists, 20 digs and six aces as the Lady Trojans improved to 42-9 with a 3-1 win over Baylor. Many of her assists went to Rachel Shaughnessy, who had 19 kills.
