Register for middle school fall break workshop

Hamilton County Parks and Recreation Department in partnership with Ivy Academy and Hamilton County Water Quality, are sponsoring Nature Hunters for students in grades 6-8.

The fall break workshop will be held Oct. 17-21 at Enterprise South Nature Park from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Camp fee is $50 per student, which includes snacks and water. Participants must bring their lunches each day.

Environmental topics such as wildlife identification, wetland wonders, trees, trash and the environment will be explored. Students will also be involved in a park service project. The final day will feature a hike or bike day including a picnic.

Registration is required by Wednesday or until camp is full. Space is limited to 15 students. Fees must be paid before the workshop's start.
