Chattanooga airport CEO Mike Landguth leaves post for Raleigh job

Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport chief Mike Landguth will accept the director's job at Raleigh-Durham Airport in North Carolina.

He has submitted his resignation to the airport's board of commissioners effective Nov. 4.

Landguth has served as president and CEO in Chattanooga since July 2004. He was vice president of operations at the Chattanooga airport since 1999.

Dan Jacobson, Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport Authority chairman, said the panel will immediately begin searching for Landguth's successor.
