A Walker County Sheriff's Office employee resigned last Friday after an internal investigation revealed that he "engaged in conduct unbecoming of an officer," Sheriff Steve Wilson wrote in a news release.

The employee, Gaylon Redwine, had worked at the sheriff's office for five years. He was found to have violated an office policy.
