Tory Kemp, GPS: She had 17 kills, 17 assists and 11 blocks in the Bruisers' 3-2 volleyball victory over rival Baylor.

Paige Scudder, Signal Mountain: She set 22 assists and also had five digs for the Lady Eagles, who advanced to the championship match in the District 7-AA volleyball tournament by defeating Chattanooga Christian 2-0.

Angie Marini, Notre Dame: She had 26 digs and five aces as the Lady Irish won their District 7-AA volleyball semifinal 3-0 over Grundy County.

Kianna Delaney, Ooltewah: The Lady Owls won their semifinal in the District 5-AAA volleyball tournament 3-1 with help from her 11 kills and 16 digs.

Olivia Holden, Soddy-Daisy: Her 45 assists and 19 digs helped the Lady Trojans win 3-1 in a District 5-AAA volleyball semifinal.

Sadie Shackleford and Alyson Hale, St. Andrew's-Sewanee: They had the goals for SAS in a 2-2 soccer tie against Community.

Summer Lanter, Soddy-Daisy: She had a had trick when the Lady Trojans beat Signal Mountain 6-1 in soccer.

Abbie Alosi, Silverdale Baptist: Her two goals accounted for half the Lady Seahawks' scoring in their shutout soccer victory over East Ridge.

Anna Hoffman, Chattanooga Christian: She had two goals and an assist in the Lady Chargers' 5-0 soccer win over Hixson.

Simon Holden, Baylor: He ran a 16:32.93 5k on his home course to win this week's cross country league meet, although McCallie was the team winner by a wide margin with Matthew Jones the individual runner-up.

Haley Ward, McMinn County: She was the girls' winner with a 19:58.95 5k time in the CCCL meet at Baylor.
