Chattanooga Police have said they have arrested Cordelle Collier, 24, following last night's shooting of Alfonzo Trimble, 33.

According to police, Trimble called 911 around 9 p.m. stating that he'd been shot in the arm in an alley between Long and Williams streets.

Trimble said he was approached by a man on a bicycle wearing all black who suddenly began shooting at him.

Police said Trimble walked to a nearby church, called police and upon their arrival identified Collier as the person who shot him.

Investigators located Collier sitting on the front porch of a 37 West 21st St. home, according to police, and said he was wearing the same clothing described by Trimble.

Collier was arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder and aggravated assault.
