Man and woman arrested for burglaries in Red Bank

A man and a woman were arrested Tuesday in connection with a series of burglaries that happened on Red Bank’s Ashmore Avenue over the weekend.

Police used video surveillance and witness descriptions to find Promise Johnfauno and Cameron Nessle, both 23, Chief Tim Christol said in a news release.

Johnfauno and Nessie were each charged with two counts of aggravated burglary, one count of theft in excess of $10,000 and one count of theft in excess of $1,000.

They are being held at the Hamilton County Jail on $68,000 bond each, Christol said.

Investigation is ongoing into a third suspect, he said.

Most of the stolen items were returned, the chief said.
