What appears to have been a children’s birthday party got out of hand tonight in Bradley County, authorities said.
A man got into a fight and got hit in the mouth, another man fired his gun six times, and a woman apparently suffered a seizure.
A neighbor on Horton Road in Bradley County called the sheriff’s department to report what appeared to be a shooting, sheriff’s spokesman Bob Gault said.
Investigators discovered that the man who fired his gun shot it into the ground and didn’t hit anybody, but faces multiple counts of reckless endangerment, Gault said.
The man with the mouth injury was transported to SkyRidge Medical Center in Cleveland and also will face charges when he is released from the hospital, Gault said.
He said that the men apparently were drinking. No names had been released as of shortly after 11 p.m. Saturday.

This was a children's party! There was no mention of adults being present.
Nothing more fun for the kids to see than a bunch of liquored up adults waving guns around. And People wonder why goverments around the world are banning guns.
When guns are outlawed from Family Values children's birthday parties, only outlaws will have guns at Family Values children's birthday parties.

most of those countries banning guns are doing so to preserve their despot rule.What part of "if a criminal wants a gun he/she will easily find one" do you anti-gun people not understand.I suppose it makes you all fuzzy and warm inside to think that our citizens shouldn't be able to defend themselves.Apparently you would prefer for law abiding people to be mowed down with no way to defend themselves.
This is not a gun problem. It is an adult stupidity problem.
Don't get me wrong I'm all for responsible gun ownership (own a few myself) but hate to see stories of irresponsible people waving guns around trying to level the playing field with a gun all over some petty little matter that poises no threat to anyone. That story should have ended with a good old fashioned ass-whoopin.
Everybody wants only smart, rational, level-headed, responsible people who don't lose their temper, or who will take a walk to cool off, to own guns, so they can protect themselves and others when the "bad guys" open up and start blazing away.
I got news for you -- those two groups of people we're talking about are the same people -- just depends on circumstances on a different day.
